We are passionate to encourage the younger generation's growth by supporting the Kingston Regatta on the beautiful riverside Thames and the Rose Theatre Kingston, as well as charities in the Borough of Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas. We have an exciting apprenticeship program for the training and development of local young residents. We believe in an innovative and entrepreneurial mind-set in our local community and we support the growth of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).

Through strong relationships and collaborations with local government, businesses and community organisations, CNM Estates can achieve its long term goal to realise potential and value through development and regeneration, creating new areas where people flourish and businesses grow, ultimately benefiting our community.

St George's Court

DEVELOPMENT OF ST GEORGE’S COURT

CNM Estates is updating on the proposals for the revitalisation of 4 St George’s Court.

Planning permission was granted to repurpose the building into ground floor pub, retail kiosks and entrance, two floors of high grade Serviced Offices in support of small and mid-sized businesses & an additional 5 floors accommodating 70 Serviced Apartments.

The granted permission incorporates significant improvements to St George’s Square and adjoining public realm. These improvements came about as a result of significant input from the public and various resident associations.

Due to re-analysis of the structural approach it is now possible to add a further 3 storeys to the building as depicted in the picture, showing the granted permission and new proposal.

All ground floor and public realm benefits are maintained and the concept design and principles of the approved scheme will be extended to the additional three floors.

WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR VIEWS

To help you understand the plans further, we have produced a consultation pack that sets out our proposals for the site, which we will present during a live webinar at 6.30pm on Thursday 13th February, 2025 and which will be published on our website on Friday 14th February 2025.

CNM Estates has been proudly supporting the Kingston Regatta as main sponsor for over 10 years.

The event is ‘the jewel in the crown' of amateur rowing on the River Thames. Held annually since 1857 the family event attracts thousands of spectators to watch over 500 races of an international standard.

Last year, CNM Estates raised more than £17,000 at the charity luncheon during the Kingston Regatta, of which £10,952 was donated to the Kingston Rowing Club and £6,200 was given to the Grenfell Tower appeal.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, British Rowing has extended the cancellation of all rowing competitions until 31st July. This means that sadly the 2020 event has been cancelled for July 2020.

For the future, the Kingston Regatta Committee and organisation is in good health and Kingston Regatta will be back in July 2021 offering a full programme over 2 days following Henley on 10th and 11th July 2021.

CNM look forward to supporting the event once again next year.

CNM Estates has been sponsoring business awards, which recognise the innovation, forward-thinking and diversity of the local business community in Kingston upon Thames and Sutton. In 2017, CNM Estates sponsored the Kingston Business Excellence Awards which champions the best of the Borough’s businesses by celebrating their hard work, achievements and successes. In particular, we judged the category Entrepreneur of the Year, recognising those with drive, ambition, vision and tenacity to inspirational leadership, inventiveness and confidence. For the last three years, we have also been the headline sponsors of the Sutton Business Awards which celebrates business and innovation in the Borough of Sutton and we had the honour to announce the final award of Business of the Year.

At CNM Estates, we believe in the importance of promoting innovation in our local community, and therefore we strongly support entrepreneurship and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) by offering space for rent to start-ups and SMEs. Furthermore, we are setting up a business incubator (HUB) in selected developments. The HUB will provide a creative workplace bringing together different industries and types of social businesses, which will help young companies strive and benefit from a supportive business environment.

For the past years, CNM Estates has been supporting local charities and their mission in the Borough of Kingston Upon Thames and surrounding area.

CNM Estates has acted as founding donor of Love Kingston, an inspiring community organisation supporting five local projects committed to ‘pathways out of poverty’ in the Borough of Kingston upon Thames. In 2016, we have supported Refugee Action Kingston, a local charity providing advice and support for refugees in Kingston. In support to the Mayor's Charity, we have also sponsored the Dementia Appeal, to help Kingston Hospital transform dementia care in Kingston and beyond.

This year, we are sponsoring the Kingston Chamber Concerts, a series of 6 chamber music concerts which will take place at The East End Cafe, in the beautifully restored All Saints Church in the center of Kingston upon Thames. The concerts will be performed by professional young musicians who live locally. For more details or for booking, please email directly kingstonchamberconcerts@gmail.com.

In further support of our local charities, we can offer space for rent in some of our developments.
